I always trusted freeware like CCleaner, EasyCleaner, Baku or Eusing Free Registry Cleaner

Just lile in the case of antivirus software, there is no silver bullet when it comes to cleaning up the registry. That is why I generally use multiple programs for the job.

You can also try Registry Clean Master. It works fine on all versions of Windows including Win7 Pro x64/x86, it's small and pretty fast (you can compare the scan results with the scan results of free cleaners, esp when the application is minimized to tray)
If you have any questions or comments on Registry Clean Master - you can contact me via e-mail or private message on this board =)

Some times registry cleaners can harm your registry (if you dont use a tried-before). I always repair my registry with cclean once a month and i never had any problems. Registry can improve your performance.

Refer to computer cleaner and protector, here I have a good recommend for you: Tuneup360 and Norton system work, but the latter one is a little bit difficult. For the beginners, Tuneup360 is a good choice.

MS made some changes to the Windows registry with Vista and it continues with Win-7.
Registry cleaners, like Easy Cleaner II, have not be re-written for Win-7 and can do more harm than good.

Some people keep touting CCleaner, but the two times I've tried it, it has corrupted my OS so badly that it wouldn't even boot.
Restoring a Ghost Backup was required to get my system back up and running normally.

One NEW program that I've tried on both XP and Win-7 that seems to work well is "AVG Tune Up".
I also used it to optimize my internet connection and it truly worked wonders to speed up my connection.
But when I tried out its Defrag routine, it made such a mess of my HD, that I wound up doing a backup and Restore to put things right again.

Cleaning up a registry and taking out dead links, bad keys, etc., is almost worthless if you don't re-compress the registry after the Clean Up.
The only program that I've found that will do that, SAFELY, is NTREGOPT.
After uninstalling Office 2007 and running Easy Cleaner II, I ran NTREGOPT and it reduced the size of my registry by 1/3.

As for advise to those NON-Tech's, "If in doubt, DON'T!".

Before I ever try out a new program that might mess up my Registry or HD, I do a full C: drive backup.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays mates!

Now I using "Advanced Registry Care". It's free to scan and fix registry errors. I am truly amazed at how fast it scans and how much it finds. It is too useful for me!

I've used it too and it does better than a fair job.The best there is is by Raxco Perfect Disc Server v12.5 and includes pre-defragging autorun as you browse. It costs though.

G'day!

I think there is none.. Because what does TuneUp utilities can tune to a mobile unless you say what type of mobile you have.
Maybe for Iphone have a chance to install a tuneup utilities but you can try writing down your Mobile Version, Name.

Hint:
If your phone is samsung, you can check your version and exact name here:
