News:
- bigger subtitles
- moved the area of subtiltes to the bottom
- full white subtitles, outlined with gray at this moment. :( Maybe in next firmware will be outlined with black.
- new icons by laza.

enjoy,

The chipset is MTT 1389.
You can select the desired subtitles. Is needing to have the same name as movie. Only ESS players can do what you want.

enjoy,

HI :)

I think also that this player is very good.

I will wait for the next version of mtz firmware - gray outlined subtitles doesnt looks good.

MTZ: Is it possible to remove zoom icon together with sign "2x, 4x, etc" or to set it to disappear after a few seconds? I'd like to watch 2.35:1 movies at 2x but I cant because of this icon almost in the middle of the screen :(

Please add such function to your great modded firmware :)

Greetings,

Sauron

Hey Sauron,

How you can update the firwmare of that?
I can't update it, just record in a cd-r 4x, close session and disc at once, but put in on dvd and this say the message: "unknow disc".

I like some explanation about it, if you can tell us.

Thanks!

The firmware filename in the ISO is DVP5100_02.bin
Did you try to rename the filename to DVP5100_78.bin or DVP5100K_78.bin?

Beware! The DVP5100/02 has no karaoke! So, if the upgrade is sucessfull, you will lose the karaoke function of your player until someone extracts the DVP5100/78 original firmware!

You can´t go back until the karaoke version is released!

You need to try renaming the BIN file inside the ISO file.
You said that you renamed the ISO file. This would never works.

And you need to burn the ISO as an image. When you finish your recording, you ends with a CD with an BIN file inside. If you end up with a CD with an ISO file inside, you are doing the wrong thing.

it excuses, my ingles is not very good.

Which treatment to say, when burning the single ISO. is left BIN DVP5100K_78 with a CD with an BIN file inside, But it does not burn any type of information.

I hope that you understand to me, greetings.

I just received my DVP-5100k/78 today. The first thing I tried was an anime episode of Gantz, coded by the W-dreamers group. The video skipped a lot and the audio was soon de-synchronized with the video. :cursing:

The second thing I tried was an older anime I had, Hunter x Hunter. It played Ok, but the bottom part of the image (where the subtitle was hardcoded) pratically was off the screen, so I could not read the subs. :death:

Anyone know how to fix these problems, if possible without re-encoding the avi files ?
