First of all, thanks for the fast answer.
Actually, the latest (and original) file can be found here:
SY402-89.binIt is the only one that can be found on the Sytech
home page.
You can also find the manual in english, pdf format.
or right from softpedia (mtz):
http://download.mtz.softpedia.com/original...al_Firmware.zipBoth seem to be the same (ref. 89 or 23.07.00.00)
The model is the Sy-402 with the MT1389FE chip.
There is an odd thing (I´m new at this). Yesterday I tried to backup the firmware using the guide that Mtz made, to no avail

, I almost succeeded but gave up, and discovered that the Mt chip on the board was the MT1389DE (March 2005). Is it supposed to say that or should it be FE at the end?
Also, how long does it usually take to flash or update the firmware in a MT1389 chip? I have read that it takes 40 seconds up to 2 minutes. Could it take 5 - 10 minutes? Flashing makes me nervous... lol.
Any help would be appreciated and sorry for all the questions.
Thanks,
