Hi,
i've got a problem with my new Pioneer 575.
About 20% of my Divx/Xvid-CDs can't be played.
After insertion the player says "can't play disc".
I think the problem is i burned the CDs with ISO/UDF filesystem.
I found out that all CDs i can't play got filenames with more than 41 characters.
This problem appears with the original firmware 2.09 and the Pioneer575_1252_v6_Mtz.

Is there any firmware or a way to modify a firmware to play this CDs?

P.S. The files are OK, I burned some of them again as ISO and they worked with the player.

I've got a problem with my Pioneer 578A flashed with Firmware from 575, my problem is similar to your problem. But there are some differences:

1- My Player work fine with ISO/UDF Filesystems using DIVX/MPEG-4 until yesterday (05/20/05).
2- Today, my player not play all my discs that contents DIVX files !!! After insertion the player says "can't play disc".

This problem appears with the original firmware 2.09 and the Pioneer575_1252_v6_Mtz.

You solve its problem?
You or somebody has some suggestion?

Thanks,

Deise
