I don't know whats about new firmware, any new release from YAMADA?
Is the last and "best" firmware NewAge?

As Mtz correctly put it, waiting for the Yamada to put up a good firmware is like waiting for pigs to gain wings: will not happen!

However, if you have a 6700, you're lucky because there's a guy putting out very good firmware: New Age. Earlier today he put out his latest masterpiece, which you can find here: http://newage.mpeg4-players.info/yamada/6700/NAv3/NAv3.html . Change log shows a lot of improvements over Yamada's official firmwares.
