I found this forum whilst searching for some new firmware for my DK Digital 915 player. I am having a nightmare with subtitles and wondered if this could solve the problem.

I downloaded your latest Medion firmware, which I believe to be the correct version for my player, and installed it with no problems at all.

However, on some movies the subtitles are just too big and disappear off the side of the screen - I cannot read all of the text! There doesn't appear to be an option to change the font size so I am completely stuck.

Can anyone please help?

I think the problems are in your subtitles files, not in firmware.
All my subtitles from CD are with max. 42 characters/line, max 2 lines.

Thanks but I have downloaded many versions of the subs and they are all wrong. I guess I will keep trying, or maybe edit and shorten the subs myself.

Try to use DirectSub.
