Hello everybody, this is my first post...

I've a player Ansonic (Medion compatible) that is dead... I upgrade via CD to V9, and the player is unable to play any DVD or DIVX..

I've bought a nokia 3210 cable, and i have prepared to connect it to the player (i have put a molex mini connector to attach it ot the player mainboard)...

The problem is when i use Mtk Tool, report the following message:

LOG: Start to upgrade
Init: OK
bManuId=0,bDevId=16
bManuId=32,bDevId=2
bManuId=42,bDevId=11
ERR: fail to identify the flash type!

What's wrong?

Are the cable and the mainboard correctly?
Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance...

Good bye...

Try on another PC. Regarding your screenshot, even is small, I think the GND is on the right.
Many users reported that for Nokia cable is no needing for 3.3V.
You'll have this (like in the first screenshot):
RX TX GND

But as Hackerjack said, your log is strange. This is the reason why I think is better to try on another PC if you still have that strange MTKTool log.

enjoy,
Mtz

first at all the cabel you have there ain't a 3210 cabel, looks more like a 3310

i'm very cunfused over your picture of the cabel, if your pic is taken so the upper pin to the left is pin 1 the connection should be like this

Yellow=MBUS (3.3V)

Orange=GND

White=Rx

Green=Tx

but since i don't know how to turn the phone connector and what is pin 1 i'm not sure its the right connection
