Hello,
I've tried to find an answer on 32 pages of this forum but with no success.

my question is this:

"I have updated my dv-383 player with a version 1.09.03.HebRus.3 (based on gufiaks with hebrew russian support by moroz), i have tried to play dvd-audio disc but i only get a 'dvd-a' string on a screen of the player and some logo on the tv. it is stuck on 1 track with the play triangle and nonadvancing time.
I've tried to put the same disc in my brother's 393 (without fw update) and it at least plays the dvd-video tracks. why am i, at least, not able to hear the dvd-video?"

Go to Home Menu --> Initial Settings -- Options --> Then change the DVD-Audio to DVD-Video

Thanks a lot for the 01.09.02.00 firmware from Gufiak's.
It really works from region 3 to region free.

But I got a problem now, 1st the screen start flashing.
2nd it seems not support tranditional Chinese Subtitle.

Can any one help me on it?

Hi Gufiak,

is it possible to add time shifting for subtitles - in case they are not compatible with the movie?
