You can download it here:
Klik for downloadNow I am waiting for MTZ to make it better (fonts, background)...
Thank you
Thanks, when the should i burn the dummy file with the MTK file?
Thanks ! I wait for MTZ too
Burn also the Dummy file to be sure.
Please test the Yamada v3 and tell me the diferences between v1 or v2.
I know that V3 has NO Packed Bistream Support.
In V3 is posible to have more than 60 characters/subtitle? This is the part which interests me.

I took the MTKReMaker.exe from MKT and i steal the MTK (Font 5-6).mtf from his Yamada6700_V1_Mtz.zip firmware. After i open the official V3 firmware an i replace the mtk(font5-6) and finnaly i save the new MTK.bin file. I think that the next step is to make the upgrade with this new bin file (including the official dump file). Please anyone tell my if this is the correct way to have greek language support to my 6700 with new V3 firmware (I dont want to kill my dvd player).
Thanks a lot

You can try
this.File names in greek not supported yet. Just english.

MTZ can you help me please I want to know how to pic an yamada Fw and put more fonts like you do. And to know to how put the codes so the subtitles works.
I just know how to change the OSD, fonts and Mpeg files, but if the original Fw just have let say 4 fonts how can you put 5 fonts if you need? And how it works the codes for big, mid, and sml fonts?
Can you help me on this please.
thanks

I'm not adding more fonts than original firmware has. I don't have time for it or 99 colors for subtitles.
My point is at least one good subtitle for everybody.

Does V3 Firmware solve the problem of 14 characters only in the file browser?????
This is extremly important for playing mp3 music.
No official firmware will support more than 14 characters for file browser. That is because of the picture preview.

Yeah, but your fw is not official

In fw for Yamada 6600 it was solved wasn't it? You write: full browser width, you can see extension of file. Could this be solved next time in fw for Yamada 6700? And second question - is somebody working on czech translation of OSD? If nobody is, i could. I my opinion - can i translate to czech some unused language part in fw? For example from French make Czech?
P.S. Mtz, your last fw for Yamada 6700 is absolutely great, thank you very much ...
lakyljuk
That description is for 6600.
Yes, you can translate. You can use
MTK LangCreator.Open the languages files from attachment and save them as .mlc. Open that .mlc files in wordpad and use the Language 2 for translation. You can use copy-paste from the already translated czech language instead of french at the good position. You need to verify with the english language file for the correct position and items because the czech language from Yamada 6600 hasn't the same positions like 6700.
After finishing you can upload them here to make the modifications also for english and put in the firmware.
Who want to translate some 1250 codepage for their language, announce here. More max. 2 languages more for translations.
The parts where French is not translated, don't translate. Let the rows empty.

Hi, I'm currently translating language file from French to Czech - from this ZIP file. But I have question Mtz - In czech translation file for Yamada 6600 there is somewhere used some code inside words:
original czech word "výstup" is written "v\[0xFD]stup". Is it neccesary to write it this way? I don't know which letters should be replaced with such a code. Currently i am translating words without these codes. And what about empty spaces in French translation? You said must let them empty. What will display in these places?
Thanks for help

MTZ:
I found a problem in a new firmware for yamada 6700. When the movie is playing and I pres the key volume + or -, it's not displyed on the screen. In the first firmware was working fine. Now OSD is not working. I use 1250 version of firmware english OSD language.
Where is the problem?
@lakyljuk if you see "v\[0xFD]stup", use it, not "výstup". That because the player will read \[0xFD] as ý. If you put ý is possible that in you menu to see _space_ instead of ý.
If any language has untranslated lines, that lines will be_always_showed in english. Not all lines from language files are used in menu. This is the reason why in another languages than Language 1 appear empty lines.
@majstor, because the subtitle is in lowered position you can't see Mute, Mute Off, Vol. Do you really use them from the dvd player remote? I_only_use the TV remote.

Thanks for reply. I will correct it. And what about length of row? If I am translating from English to Czech, some words are longer. Could this lead to some problems? For example cutting to some maximum length or similar problems? Thanks.
lakyljuk
Try to use the same lenght like in 6600 czech language. The only problem if you use longer lines can be in some OSD menus to not displaying all line wroted by you.

Hello everybody. This is my first post, and i'm sorry if i'm posting some question previously answered...
Kudos to Mtz for his work supporting divx players.
Today i received my Yamada 6700. (actually, it's not mine... i'm gonna give it to my girlfriend as a birthday/valentine's day present. Don't worry about me, i watch my divx movies through my tv-out or Xbox. Even so, i'd like to offer her the coolest player possible.)
I upgraded it with the latest Mtz firmware Yamada6700_V1_Mtz.
I think it solved the fast forwarding bug, at least it works!
But the background hasn't changed... I still see the standard Yamada background each time i turn on the player...
Needless to say, i want the cool flower background!
Is it possible the upgrade didn't go as planned?
And if so, shouldn't the player be dead? (It isn't, i checked

)
Should i re-run the upgrade cd?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Regards.

Hello Mtz (or anyone who knows it

)
I was translating OSD for this firmware to czech language. Everywhere, where was "ý" sign, i put a code \[0xFD]. This could be represented by player as "ý". BUT, when I put whole language file into Mtz fw and flashed it to player, in place, here "ý" should be show, there is nothing. Nor empty space, neither other character, just nothing. So word "levý" which means left, is displayed like "lev". Does anyone know correct code for these kind of characters?
Thanks in advance

lakyljuk, I don't have the player so giving an answer is hard. Try to use "y" instead of that code.
angielaz, sorry but for some reason your player is dead. Is not firmware fault. You need to recover it using a serial cable. How to is

Hi all,
This is my first post here but I had to have a say,, I bought a 6700 and I wasn't very happy with it out of the box,, the thing was when you FF or RW a avi file it crashed.
Didn't anybody TEST these when they released it???
I put the update on " mtk6700v2 " and yes it cured the ff/rw bug but then I started to get dark patches across the picture when watching any film.
So thinking it was a connection problem tried a different scart lead,, no help.
Then I tried my friends 6700 which he hadn't updated and the picture was perfect, must be somthing wrong with update "mtk6700v2"
I've just flashed with mtk6700v3 and it's cured my dark patches but whats with getting rid of Packed Bitstream support???
Perhaps the new model 6800 is due out..
I'll be testing the firmware over the next few days if I find any probs I'll report back.
Thanks for reading

lo, Well I tested my 6700 with a couple of AVI's movies last night and both of them started fine,, but soon lost Audio sync,, the sound seem to get more out of sync the longer I left it.
If I ff it quickly it corrects itself for a bit,,but soon drifts out again.
I did test both movies on my 6600 and didn't have a problem.
Question, can I now flash it back to Yamada6700_V1_Mtz from mtk6700v3.zip?
Because the only problem I had noticed with the original drivers was the FF/RW bug.
Any help much appreciated
