Hi Guys ,actually i got a DVD Player from g-hanz made in china ,you'll find it at http://www.g-hanz.com/dvd.htm ,and the only region hack and DVD Firmware info ,worked with this player are the hack of the DK Digital DVD-339 i found at http://www.area450.com/otherplayers/dkdvd339playback.htm

So do you have more info about G-Hanz 3406/A Player ,and which firmware update can i use to let this player read the .srt files for the divx Movies ...?
this player has the Mediatek MT1389 chipset ,is it compatible with the (OFFA) One Firmware For All which it's made for shampo DVD Player ..?
Or any other Firmware at your site ..?

Picture (DVD) through VCR (recorded or viewed) is degraded comparing with direct connection to the TV. On DVB reciever (based on STi5518) picture is much better. Is the Macrovision is on by default?

I can't add arabic support. Arabic labguage is difficult because the arabic characters are changing depending on words. In the firmware can be only arabic 1258 charset.

Thanks for support, board is based on the 1389DE (it has white 4 pin connector)but 5ch DTS is not working. What if I apply the patch for Denver - the DTS will be working?

I've made some photos from inside. I am going to get firmware out from the player to compare but don't have the cable. I got the cable sheme http://personal.inet.fi/koti/mabreaker/mab...index.htmlbased on the MAX232. Seems to be there is enough Rx Tx and Ground.

In this link I've found lot of information to think about, I am sorry for my previous post with wrong address. I have made more quality pics of the player. May be they will be usefull. This player is pretty good for the price has paid (90$)even for lack of the DTS and WMA and some noise of the servo 2-3 times on a second specially noticable during low volumes. ThePonyBoy please, take a look inside of your 3406 to compare and find out are the players have same motherboard or not?
